Twitter on your Commodore 64 with Breadbox64

Have you ever wanted to Twitter from your Commodore 64? Probably not, but I bet those of you with C64’s lying around will be paying attention when I tell you it is now a possibility thanks to Johan Van den Brande from Belgium. Your C64 will need an internet connection of course and Johan kindly gives instructions on how to do this plus a link to download his software for free.

The aforementioned software is called Breadbox64 and amongst other things it allows you to Tweet (obviously!), access your friends feed and access individual friends timelines. You can also run this using C64 emulation on your PC, but what’s the point in that?

If you fancy Twitter ‘retro style’ head on over to his website here. Now where’s the ZX Spectrum version?
