A collection from continental Europe this time round, Luxembourg to be exact. Roby has a collection that could make any video game collector cry (tears of joy). Comprising of over 220 different consoles and endless peripherals and software (this guy has 15 Commodore 64s!) this is a must-see for anyone interested in vintage computing or video gaming. Q and A with Ronck Roby

When did you become interested in video games and what was the first video game you played

Roby: I Play already Video Games with 13 years. My first Video game I played was Hunchback.

What was the first games console or computer you owned and how old were you?

Roby: My first computer was a Commodore 64 with 13 years, but I remember me, before we have also a Atari 2600 woody.

Where do you source most of your retro purchases from (ebay, flea markets etc) ?

Roby: I purchases a lot of retro stuff in Ebay but I became also a lot here in my country. Flea markets are not so well here in my country.

What is your most prized retrogaming possession and how much did it cost you?

Roby: Haha :-), my most prized retrogaming possession is a Commodore VC10 also named Max Machine and the NEO-GEO CD SNK and the Panasonic 3DO but I never speak about prices, sorry.

What is your favourite hardware manufacturer (Sega, Nintendo, Atari Commodore etc.) ?

Roby: My favourite manufacturer is Commodore / Amiga.

What is your favourite console or Computer?

Roby: My favourite Computer are the Commodore 64, Amiga 500 and the Amiga 1200. My favourite Console are the Sega MD, Nintendo SNES and for now Nintendo 2DS.

The burning house scenario: which collection would you save first?

Roby: A good question, after my Family I guess to save the whole stuff  lol or I burn with all lol.

The Desert Island scenario: which one console and game would you take?

Roby: I think, I would take my new Nintendo 2DS with Sim City game.

Where do you want to go now with the collection?

Roby: For the moment I will stay at home with, I would like to open a little museum in my country. I am dreaming about a bigger museum after.

Have you any tips for budding retro games collectors?

Roby: Of course, I guess, Ebay was a very good place to search retro stuff, but you need a lot of time to buy for good prices.
