It never ceases to amaze me what talents lie waiting to be discovered via social media. I, along with scores of retro gamers, use Instagram to showcase our collections and to trade games. Simon Svensson’s Instagram feed transcends the normal posed shots and replaces them with something akin to art. Not any old art but retro game inspired art (with a little current gen thrown in for good measure). Sometimes humorous, sometimes dramatic, the imagination used in his shots is spellbinding and for me his postings have become a highlight of my social networking week.
