Great piece of programming
The ZX81 was my first computer, if i had this game back in the eighties i would have been king! Really amazing what you can squeeze out of the ZX81.

I thought the Software Farm titles such as ZXtricator were good back in the day, but there sure are some clever folks out there that show us what is capable even on humble hardware such as our dear old ZX81. Programmers couldn’t be so lazy when they only had 1K or 16K to play with. BTW the 81 was my first machine too (I still have it and it still works!).

I think there is a bug in this game I cannnot get past level one i keep falling through the floor and die, i think you should check the game works properly before uploading to the interweb I wasted a lot of time trying to get it working I now play animal rescue it is much better and is in colour.

Having played this game again I wholeheartedly agree with you. Leaving colour out of the game was a major oversight and should have been noticed at beta testing stage. I am writing to the author and also my local MP to complain about the ramshackle way that games are made these days.
