Had I actually given it some thought I may have realised that the port is multi function and that a proprietory USB wouldn&#039;t be the answer.

		<description>The reason they did not use a regular USB connector is because the EXT port on the bottom supports USB-HOST, Serial, JTAG and TV out, each needing different pins.</description>
